OH MY GOSH IT WAS PET DAY TODAY... Ok I have to calm down but seriously there was one super scary part was when my dog and Jorja's poppa's dog got into a fight I nearly had a heart attack  but thankfully the small dog didn't get hurt aka Casper Jorja's dog my dog Jazmine just got a small cut on her tongue but I'll show some photo's but not of the battle

So guys Miss Howland ( one of our substitute teacher's ) told us to do a reflect so I am just going to reflect on what I loved doing so my number one thing that i enjoyed was skiing 

I just loved it even though jorja ran over my arm with a ski I still really enjoyed it. Something else I really enjoyed was the pasifika performance 

More things I really enjoyed was having our great student teacher Ms Tapuke and Miss Bar they were like the best student teachers ever there was also stacey

Today we are on a new site called Visual fractions because today we are learning about fractions but I thought we had to pick up a pencil and do some work but I guess not.Miss Waho told us to do five questions and if we get all 5 correct we can move on though I think there are 10 questions that we can do but Miss Waho just wants us to do 5. So today we did this quiz of multiplication and division it was a quiz the good thing was that I got all of them right but they were hard questions like there was 12 x 10 though I finally found out that it was 120 but anyway here is my score!

I AM SO EXCITED GUYS IT'S TERM 4! So anyway we have lots of new things that we are doing like typing club instead of typing school/keyhero and teachers have changed what they are doing plus instead of blogging we have oral language. THIS IS SO EXCITING! I'm super excited for all the new thing we will be doing too;)

So today Miss Waho told my group ( The pyramids ) that we ad to do stage 7 on prototec saw how difficult it was on hannah's device last time and this time I did terrible I got 22/40.

 My next step is to work on Sqrs, Roots & Factors and Fractions & percentages.

guys am doing terrible stage 6 timed is like impossible for me I have been trying forever it's like i'm losing focus see even look at my score I only got two right for one.

Today was awesome because we got to play with lego! a girl called Rachel came in and there were mats with Lego on them Rachel said there was about 30,000 pieces on them and that's a lot.

There were three mats and Rachel told us that we were going to be numbered off to one number 1 we had to build a garden that's the one I had to do first.

The second one we had to copy the image of a building.

And the third one I did with Hannah N me and her built a giraffe because we built a zoo.

So guys today on prototec I did really bad on one of the columns seriously guys I only 3 right on it because they looked hard and you had to do it right away see even look at the screenshot.

I need to get better at doing 1000 so that's what I am going to work on.

Kia ora guys its me Mackenzie and today we did some more typing school. The reason the title is acing it is because I am doing really well so far I have completed two of them and now I only have to do one more section see here are some screenshots of it!

and I really think it has improved for my writing and that's really good!

So I have been at gilberthorpe for a long time now and I have had the value empathy a lot of times but I never knew what it really meant because I always forgot but all I know now is but now I do know from this slide.

Reflect: I have learnt that empathy is feeling another's pain and knowing how it felt to be in that persons shoes.

We went on our Pak n save trip and made it back but I'm doing this because the weather is terrible and it's spring I mean last night we went outside in the storm because a big branch fell down and we had to take it all the way back to the house and then the next day the day of the Pak n save trip 2 more big branches fell so the whole Ave was blocked off and its all because of those branches I was surprised that it we still went but it is getting a bit lighter so I hope we can go back outside soon anyway see ya!

I can't believe we actually did the Pasifika Performance It was so scary because well It's a performance in front of like 500 people really who wouldn't be scared. Overall Miss Waho said that this was the best Performance we have ever done and to be honest I think that too. Anyway here are some pics of it!
